Meet the Founder
A Life in the Game
Roger Lindquist's connection to golf began in 1978 at Arizona Country Club, where he worked under head golf professional Gene Lesch. That early experience set the course for everything that followed.
In 1986, Roger joined Izod Lacoste Golf & Tennis as a sales representative — a role that would define much of his professional identity. For 13 years he covered Arizona, New Mexico, and West Texas, building relationships with golf facilities and industry professionals across the region. It was on those roads, in those pro shops and clubhouses, that Roger developed the deep network and genuine love for the people of this industry that still drives him today.
That foundation carried him through his time as Sales Director at Clubessential, ForeTees, and Chelsea Reservations — part of Northstar, one of the largest hospitality software companies in the country — and ultimately to where he is now — running RML Company with his wife and building Golf Industry Futures Arizona to give the next generation the same kind of start he was fortunate enough to find.
What Drives Him
A PGA professional and Sales Director at three different technology companies — including one he was a founding team member of — Roger has spent over four decades at the heart of this industry.
In February 2000, Roger was part of the 14-person founding team that launched Clubessential — an experience that became an anchor point in his career and a lasting reminder of what a small, committed group of people can build together.
Roger believes the golf industry is the greatest career platform in the world — and that high school students deserve a clear, supported path into it.
Decades of relationship-building across the golf industry have given Roger a network that spans the entire country — from club operators and PGA professionals to technology leaders and industry executives.
